These terms apply to your use of funverdict.com. By reading the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

1. What this site is

FunVerdict is an informational and editorial site about free-to-play mobile puzzle games. It is not a shop, a launcher, a download service or an app store, and no software is distributed from it; the only thing offered for payment here is the Plus membership described in section 3, which is editorial material written by us. Every title mentioned links to its official Google Play listing, and any installation happens there under Google’s own terms.

Verdicts, descriptions and the four criteria applied to each title are the opinion of our editorial desk at the time of publication. Games are updated frequently, so a verdict describes the version we played and may not match what you install today. Ratings and rating counts printed beside a title are reproduced from the Google Play listing and belong to Google and the people who left them.

2. Advertising disclosure

The catalogue is free to read. It is supported by advertising promotion of games and by the Plus memberships described in section 3: some titles appear here because an advertising partner asked for them to be presented, and some outbound links are promotional. Advertising decides which titles reach our attention; it never decides what the verdict says. Partners do not review, approve or receive our text before publication, and there is no arrangement under which a placement can require a favourable description.

Advertising material shown on the site is identified as such where it is not obvious from its context. If you believe a piece of content on this site is not clearly marked, tell us and we will correct it.

3. Plus membership

Alongside the free catalogue we offer Plus, a paid membership run by FunVerdict itself. It includes extended write-ups with detailed notes on mechanics, pace and difficulty, early access to new write-ups before they reach the open list, a weekly email digest from the editorial desk and access to the archive of past issues. Plus adds material for members; it never removes anything from the pages that are free to read.

Plus is offered at A$4.90 per month or A$39 per year, in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST where GST applies. Seats are opened in stages: joining the Plus list places your address in the queue, and nothing is charged until we confirm your seat by email and you complete that confirmation. Rates may change for future periods, and members are told by email before any change takes effect.

A membership runs for the period paid for and continues for further periods of the same length unless it is cancelled. You may cancel at any time, through the link in any digest or by writing to the editorial desk. Cancelling stops the next period; access continues to the end of the period already paid for, and part-periods are not reimbursed except where the law requires it.

Billing is handled by an external payment provider. FunVerdict does not receive or store card numbers or other payment credentials; the provider holds them under its own terms and security obligations. If a payment does not go through, access may be paused until the matter is settled.

Nothing in this section excludes, restricts or modifies the consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If the membership is not supplied with due care and skill, or does not match the description given here, you are entitled to a remedy under that law and we will provide one.

Membership supports the desk, not coverage. A member cannot commission, alter or remove a verdict, and the four criteria are applied to every title in the same way. Questions about a membership, a payment or a cancellation go to the editorial desk at press@funverdict.com

4. No affiliation

FunVerdict is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Google LLC, Google Play, or any of the studios and publishers whose titles are described on this site. Product names, studio names, trademarks and logos are used for identification and editorial commentary only, and belong to their respective owners.

5. Intellectual property

Game icons, screenshots, promotional artwork, game titles and studio names remain the property of their respective rights holders and are reproduced here for the purpose of review and identification. The layout, structure, editorial text, verdict criteria and design of this site are the work of FunVerdict.

You may quote short passages of our text with a clear credit and a link to the page you took them from. Republishing whole entries, or copying the design of the site, requires our written agreement. Rights holders who want an image removed should write to the editorial desk and we will act promptly.

6. Acceptable use

Please use the site as an ordinary reader would. Do not attempt to interfere with its operation, to collect data from it by automated means at a scale that affects other readers, or to present its content as your own.

7. No warranty

The site is provided on an “as is” basis. We take care with every entry, but we do not guarantee that descriptions, store figures or links are complete, current or free of error, nor that the site will always be available or uninterrupted. Nothing here is professional advice, and any decision to install a title is yours.

To the extent permitted by law, FunVerdict is not responsible for loss or damage arising from your use of this site or of any third-party service reached from it. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Links to other services

Outbound links, including links to Google Play, lead to services we do not control. Their content, terms and privacy practices are their own, and we are not responsible for them.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version always sits on this page with its date at the top, and continued use of the site after an update means you accept the new version.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and the courts of Australia have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site.

11. Contact
